Herbal Chicken Soup

Ingredients
- 1Spring Chicken
- 30 gDried Chinese Yam
- 15 gDried Longan
- 13 gWolfberry (kei qi)
- 25 gSolomon Sea (yuk chuk)
- 3 gChinese Angelica (dong guai)
- 3 gDried Lily Buds
- 10 gHedge Prinsepia Nut
- 15 gAchyranthes Root
- 0.75 tspSalt
- 0.25 tspPepper
- 0.3 tspSugar
- 2 cupsWater
Steps
1) Season chicken with salt and pepper. Leave aside to marinate.
2) Place 2 cups of water and add all the herbs in an ovenproof pot. Cook on stew function for 30 minutes. Add in salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
3) Put chicken into the pot and continue to stew for an hour.
