Main Ingredients
- 200 gShiitake mushroom (Portobello optional)
- 100 gYellow onion
- 400 mlWater
- 2 cubesJapanese curry (Mild)
- 200 mlMilk (Soy milk optional)
Garnish
- 30 mlHeavy cream
- Grilled shiitake mushroom (as topping)
- 1 sprigThyme
- Black pepper (to taste)
Steps
1) Roughly cut mushrooms and chop onion, set aside.
2) Add mushrooms, onion and water.
3) Add Japanese curry cubes.
Tip: Opt for S&B's 'Hot’ or 'Extra Hot' for a spicier taste.
4) Cover and secure lid, then start blending and cooking.
Select "Soup" | 40 mins.
5) Once done, add milk. Cover and secure lid. Select "M" 100°C | 5 mins.
6) Drizzle with heavy cream. Add grilled shiitake mushrooms, black pepper and thyme. Serve warm.
