Dashi Beef Stew
An easy and hearty Japanese-inspired stew that is rich with the flavor of beef, kabocha squash and dashi. Just put everything into a pot or Dutch oven and let the Stew function of our oven handle the rest. An hour or two later, you’ll have a meaty, tender, intensely flavorful stew to indulge in.

Ingredients
- 700 gBoneless chuck/brisket
- 240 mlKombu dashi
- 30 mlSoy sauce
- 30 mlHoney
- 4 pcsGinger
- 0.5Lemon (juiced)
- 700 gKabocha squash
- 2 gGround black pepper
- 3 gSalt
Steps
1) Cut boneless chuck in 1-inch to 1 ½ inch chunks and cut kabocha squash into 1-inch chunks.
2) Mix beef chunks, soy sauce and pepper in a pot.
3) Add in kabocha squash, ginger slices, dashi, honey and lemon juice. Mix it well.
4) Put it in the oven and cook it using STEW Mode for 1 hr 30 mins.
5) Garnish with scallions and serve with white rice.
