Claypot Style Chicken Rice
This is an easy claypot style chicken rice recipe, all made within a rice cooker. A sumptious, savoury and flavourful dish made easy without the messy cleanups.
Ingredients
- 250 gWhole Chicken Leg, cut
- 1 tbspSoy Sauce
- 1 tbspOyster Sauce
- 1 tbspGinger Juice
- 1 tbspSesame Oil
- 1 tspSugar
- 2 tbspShallot Oil
- 1 tbspPotato Flour
- Pepper to taste
- 4 pcsMushroom, soaked and sliced
Seasoning to Serve
- 2 tbspSoy Sauce
- 2 tbspLight Soy Sauce
- 1 tspSugar
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tspSesame Oil
Rice
- 3 cupsJasmine Rice, washed
- 1.5 cupsWater
- Spring Onion, sliced
Steps
1) Marinate chicken & mushroom together with seasoning for 30mins.
2) Place jasmine rice into rice cooker, add water then evenly place marinated chicken & mushroom on top without stirring.
3) Select -> WHITE RICE -> CASSEROLE -> START.
4) When buzzer sound, add seasoning, close the lid and let it rest for 10mins before mixing, garnish with spring onion and serve.
