Since hair grows in many different ways, depending on the part of the body, the methods for body hair removal must also vary. The Panasonic epilator follows this concept and offers several attachments that are optimized for specific functions.
Below are a few tips that will help you optimize the use of each individual attachment for body hair removal at home.
* The attachments may differ depending on the specific epilator model purchased.
* Before using the product and attachments, please carefully read the operating instructions that are included with them.
The legs often have to be exposed, and getting rid of stray leg hair is a time-consuming process. With the Panasonic EL series epilator, a 30% wider epilator head* covers a broader area more briskly, so you can take care of unwanted hair more efficiently and quickly. The recommended frequency for epilation care is about once every two weeks.
* Compared to ED series.
Double Discs for Double Efficiency with 60 Tweezers
The double discs ensure that leftover hair is caught, as the second disc catches hair missed by the first disc. The tweezers that catch the hair now number 60 in total, an evolutionary leap in epilation, catching more hair in a single stroke and making it one of the best ways to remove hair in the leg region.
Attach the epilation head for legs and arms.
Wet the discs and place a small quantity of liquid shower gel on the discs.
* The above method consists of “foam epilation,” which is easy on the skin. Epilating without foam (dry epilation) is also possible.
Move epilator upwards from the bottom of the leg.
Taking proper care of arm hair is important as well.
The Panasonic EL series epilator features a 90° pivoting head that can closely follow the curves of your skin, catching hard to reach hair, and is therefore recommended for the care of slender arms. The recommended frequency for epilation care is about once every two weeks.
90° Pivoting Head Fits Every Curve
The head can reach an angle of 90°. The pivoting head can easily follow any uneven contours of the body, minimizing the number of stray hairs left behind. It also lets you catch hard-to-reach places with ease.

Delicate bikini lines should be cared for with a specialized head. Two discs rotating in opposite directions ensures that all hair growing from various angles are caught.
Two discs rotate in opposite directions, which allow you to use the product in a back and forth motion. This is convenient for places like the bikini line where hair can grow unevenly.

While stretching the skin with your fingers, move the epilator across in the opposite direction of the natural slant of the growing hair.

One area that tends to get neglected is the heel of the foot. For those who often have to wear high-heels and mules, hard skin can develop on parts of the feet. With regular foot care, you can aim for perfect body care that covers even the most easily neglected areas, such as the feet. The recommended frequency for foot care is about once every two weeks.
Precision care with the curved roller head
The curved roller head is best suited for precision care. It accurately treats corns on the side of the big toe and the soles of the feet.
Within about 30 minutes after getting out of the bath, wipe off any excess moisture from the surface of the skin of your feet.
Get rid of old, hard skin by turning on the switch and applying the roller head lightly to the skin, moving it in slow petting motions.
* The recommended time of use is less than 10 minutes per both feet per session.
Moisturize the areas on which you have used the attachment.
The shaver head with trimmer attachment can be used to eliminate hair from various areas of the body, enabling you to turn any part of your body into a sleek, hairless surface. This head is also extremely functional and can also cut longer hair by changing the trimmer handle settings.
Shaving shorter hair
When shaving shorter hair, angle the shaver head at 90° to the skin and shave with the head in close contact with the hair.
Trimming longer hair
1. Set the shaver head and extend the pop-up trimmer blades.
2. Turn on the switch, apply to the skin, and shave. Move the device in the direction of the arrows.
Tips for Epilation
Hair that is 2 to 3 mm in length is ideal for epilation. Before trying to actually remove any hair at home, it is recommended that you check the lengths and use those measurements to plan for optimum epilation.
If the hair is too short:
If the hair is too short: This may result in not being able to epilate properly. In such cases, you should wait at least 2 or 3 days for the hair to grow and then epilate. If you are in a hurry to shorten the hair, we suggest that you use hair tweezers or shavers.
If the hair is too long:
Sometimes there is more pain when the hair is longer than when it is shorter. It is also not uncommon for longer hair to become tangled up in the inner parts of the device and cause malfunctions. It is advised that before you epilate you first use the shaver head to cut to a length of 2 to 3 mm.

Affix the bikini comb to the shaver head.
Pop-up the trimmer blade. Turn on the switch, apply the comb at a 90° angle to the skin, and move the device while it is in constant contact with the skin.
Hair removal while bathing is recommended.
The skin softens when warmed, allowing hair to be removed more easily.
Because the Panasonic epilator firmly grips the hair even with wet or soapy skin, it is recommended to generously lather up the skin for gentle hair removal.
For those of you trying out an epilator for the first time, it is natural to feel a little nervous or intimidated. For such people and occasions, we have prepared what we call the “Gentle Cap”, an attachment designed to grip the skin while epilating for more gentle epilation. It is very easy to use. All you have to do is replace the frame part of the epilation head with the gentle cap. After you gradually get used to the epilation techniques, you may return to ordinary heads.
