Recently, 07 Panasonic’s washing machine were awarded the 2024 Most Energy Efficiency Product by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This is the 5th consecutive time that Panasonic's household products have been certified for energy-saving and environment friendly performance, continuing to affirm the Japanese giant's strength in developing green technologies for modern, comfortable and wellness live of people and contributing to the sustainability of Vietnam.

This year, 04 top-loading washing machine models and 03 front-loading washing machine models of Panasonic all achieved the highest level as 5-star rating, meanwhile had an energy efficiency index (Wh/kg) far exceeding the standard level prescribed by the Organizing Committee.

The certification from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 5th consecutive time is not only an evaluation of the product's outstanding technical features in energy efficiency, but also a honor recognition of the company's vision, strategy and action plan towards energy efficiency and environmental protection, and promoting the popularization of green consumption trends to customers.

Exclusive technology is the core solution of the Japanese brand with the aim to offer enhance the energy efficiency and environmentally friendly. Outstanding is the application of artificial intelligence AI Smart Wash on washing machines, which is developed based on understanding the laundry needs and the highest standards of modern consumers. This technology allows laundry to be optimized for every wash, that users just have to put clothes in the machine and the smart sensor will automatically recognize the laundry volume and set the appropriate washing mode, water level and washing time. With the ability to increase washing efficiency, AI Smart Wash helps save up to 48%* water, 74%* energy and 36%* time compared to conventional washing mode.

For the 5th consecutive time, Panasonic washing machine is certified with the highest energy efficiency.

Developing technology optimizing energy efficiency is Panasonic's key approach to create Contribution Impact towards realizing the Group's commitment "Panasonic Green Impact", with the declaration of the Group’s ambitious commitment of achieving net-zero CO₂ emissions of all Panasonic operating companies by 2030 and creating impact that reduces CO₂ emissions by more than 300 million tons, equivalent to about 1% of current global CO₂ emissions, by 2050.
