Panasonic provides nanoe™ X air quality solutions on Mitsubishi vehicles

July 30, 2021 - Panasonic's nanoe™ X generator* is a gift which Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam¹ gives to customers in its June and July special promotion program to bring the best value to car buyers. Panasonic nanoe™ X generator using nanoe^TM X technology has been tested and proven to be effective against both airborne and adhered viruses.

nanoe™ X is an electrostatic atomization technology, that collects invisible moisture in the air and applies a high voltage to it to produce “hydroxyl radicals contained in water”. Hydroxyl radicals inhibit the growth of pollutants such as bacteria and viruses. They are characterized by being strongly oxidative and highly reactive, hence a short life span. However, the “hydroxyl radicals contained in water” was verified to have a longer lifespan and disperse across a wider area. nanoe™ X is used in home appliances such as air purifiers, air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators, as well as in automobiles, trains, and commercial air-conditioning equipment because of its various effects such as deodorization, inhibition of bacteria, and allergens. nanoe™ X has an inhibitory effect on both airborne and adhered substances including SARS-CoV2².

The Panasonic nanoe™ X generator is powered by a USB port and is compact enough to fit in a car cup holder, making it easy to generate nanoe™ X to clean the air inside the car. The Mitsubishi’s special promotion program applies to the following models: Attrage, Xpander, Xpander Cross, Outlander, Pajero Sport and New Triton.

In the other automotive sector, Grab Holding Inc. the leading everyday super app in Southeast Asia collaborated with Panasonic to install nanoe™ X generator on 5,500 GrabCar Premium in five major cities in the region specifically Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in order to further raise the standard of transportation services and ensure greater comfort for passengers.
