Panasonic Appliances Vietnam has received the Most Energy Efficient Products 2023 award, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for its Refrigerator and Washing machine. This is the fourth year in-a-row Panasonic’s home appliances products has been recognized for its energy-saving and environment friendly, which consistently emphasize the vision of Japanese giant in contributing to the wellness and sustainable development of Vietnam in the next 50 year.

In 2023, all registered Panasonic products for this award have the highest energy efficiency level (level 5), not only meeting but also exceeding current Vietnam standards. Among those, there had been 13 product models of Panasonic received the award, including 09 models for Refrigerator, and 04 Washing Machine units, and will be labeled Most Energy Efficient Products by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This year is the first time Panasonic registered for its Refrigerator in this award, while the Washing Machine had received this certification for four consecutive years.

The certification from the Government agency has reaffirmed the advancement of Panasonic’s technology, in which the exclusive technology is the core solution which offering the advanced energy savings, while enabling customers to enjoy a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle every day. For Washing Machine, TD Inverter generates the optimum operation to enable energy savings of up to 30% and 60% water saving, while WaterBazooka, StainMaster enhances the washing performance for more effective cleaning. On Refrigerator, equipped with Inverter and EcoNavi technology help to save energy intelligently by analyze usage Conditions and optimize cooling performance, to reduce any wasteful energy consumption. Furthermore, wellness solutions including Blue Ag+, nanoe™ X significantly eliminate bacteria preserve food hygienically.

Certification from Ministry of Industry and Trade affirms Panasonic's strength in green and sustainable technology

Developing energy efficiency technology is one of the key strategic approaches of Panasonic towards realizing the Group's commitment “Panasonic Green Impact”, which was announced in January 2022, where the Japanese brand’s CEO has firmly declared the Group’s ambitious commitment of achieving net-zero CO₂ emissions of all Panasonic operating companies by 2030 and creating impact that reduces CO₂ emissions by more than 300 million tons, equivalent to about 1% of current global CO₂ emissions, by 2050.

Advance technology is also the driving force of Panasonic to realize its mission of bringing an wellness lives to Vietnamese people with comprehensive wellness solutions, while contributing to sustainable development and prosperity of society.

In Vietnam, beside the focusing on technology and products development, Panasonic has been spending constant efforts to realize Green Impact commitment as well as its contributing to the wellness and sustainable development of Vietnam through its business and corporate social responsibility activities. One of the highlighted activities, the Japanese firm has successfully planted and donated of more than 610,000 trees in 20 provinces, cities of Vietnam through two key programs including EcoRelay - Panasonic for a green Vietnam, the annual tree planting program since 2014 with the active participations of Panasonic Vietnam Group employees; and Live Wellness Contribute Green, the special tree planting program with the contribution from partners and customers since 2022.
