Blow dry the wet hair
Blow dry your wet hair and apply your chosen heat protectant. Brush hair until smooth before styling.

Divide your hair into small sections to effectively style this look.
Start by dividing the hair on the crown of your head into one section,
and then separate the remaining hair on the sides of your scalp into
another manageable section.
Secure any excess hair with clips as you see fit.

Take a bundle of hair
to straighten
Select a small bundle of hair and clamp it between the
center of the straightener plates.
• Do not try to straighten an overabundance of hair at once. Straighten
small bundles of hair in each pass for the best results.
•Place the straightener as close to the roots of the section as possible.

Straighten each bundle of hair
Slide the straightener slowly from the roots to the tips of the hair.
• Do not keep the hair straightener in the same spot for too long. Excess heat can damage or add unwanted folds in your hair.
