Overheat Protection System (OPS)

Panasonic protects the motor by stopping the operation if an increase in temperature (due to electricity current) is detected. The EY74A1LS2G57 features an OPS (Overheat Protection System) to reduce the likelihood of the motor burning up when the tool is overloaded. The motor is automatically stopped when a high temperature is detected in its vicinity, and the tool's HIGH TEMP indicator lights up*¹.
