Panasonic R32 Refrigerant Leak Detector

R32 being a mildly flammable refrigerant (category A2L), the design and installation of systems operating with R32 must comply with the relevant refrigerant safety regulations. Those regulations which apply to our R32 Mini-VRF systems and the unique “incorporated circulation air flow” method is “IEC 60335-2-40 (ed. 6.0) for safety and flammability.“
The restrictions imposed on the refrigerant charges in a system due to the flammability of R32 are more severe than those imposed by toxicity. Therefore, in standard applications using our R32 Mini-VRF systems, toxic concentrations cannot occur.

The operation efficiency has been improved using a highly efficient R32 refrigerant, a DC Inverter compressor, a DC motor, and a heat exchanger design.

7. Centrifugal oil separator improves oil separation efficiency and reduces refrigerant pressure loss.
Energy Savings Design

Variable Evaporation Temperature (VET) for Energy Saving and Comfortable Air conditioning

The indoor and outdoor units work in tandem to control evaporation temperature, refrigerant volume, and airflow. This enables optimal air conditioning according to the number of people in the room and the indoor temperature, as well as energy savings and comfort.

Demand Response Ready

Simple Demand Response

Featuring inverter control technology, LZ2*** series systems are Demand Response Management (DRM) ready. With this control, power consumption at times of peak load can be set in three steps to deliver optimum performance. This helps to correspond with the local power management for reducing peak power consumption, and to reduce annual power consumption with minimal loss in comfort.
*Demand controller. Relay contact point: No voltage relay. **Current input is DC 24V 10mA Use a very small electric current contact point for the relay. ***LZ2 series require to purchase Demand Terminal Kit.

To use this function with the LZ2 series, it is necessary to purchase the Demand Terminal Kit (CZ-CAPDC3) (sold separately), install it on the outdoor unit at the site, and perform the appropriate settings.
A maintenance remote controller for service and special connection wiring are required for setting up the outdoor unit after installation of the kit, please contact your dealer for details.

Cooling operation is possible even when the outdoor temperature is as low as -10°C DB or as high as 52°C DB. As for heating operation, it is possible even when the outdoor temperature is as low as -20°C WB. The remote controller temperature can be set from 18°C up to 30°C (cooling), 16°C up to 30°C (heating)*.
*Depending on the type of remote controller.

Rust-resistant and Easy to Maintain

The anti-corrosion Blue Fin treatment of the heat exchanger provides greater resistance against corrosion. Panasonic also uses a copper tube condenser, which makes it easy to repair and maintain. All models are equipped with Blue Fin condenser.
