Easy Wi-Fi Setup
Easy registration to a Wi-Fi router. Setup can be performed from a smartphone without the need to start a PC.
One Push Pairing
When additional optional devices are purchased, they can be easily registered with a single button. (This procedure is not required for devices that were included as part of a bundle).
Smartphone Connect for Home Phones*1
Your smartphone becomes your home phone. Make and receive calls through your landline using your smartphone or tablet while you are relaxing at home. Up to 4 smartphones or tablets*2 can use the Smartphone Connect feature.
*1 Requires a wireless router for a Wi-Fi® connection. Requires a smartphone that can be connected to a wireless network.
*2 8mobile devices can be registered to the hub, however, only the first 4 can use the Smartphone Connect feature.
Motion and Window / Door Sensor Notification
The smartphone app is automatically notified and the hub beeps when a window sensor or motion sensor detects something. Notifications can be checked when you are inside or outside the home.
Select Detection Area
You can adjust which areas of the camera image are monitored for motion detection. This allows you to ignore motion in certain areas of the camera’s image, for example car traffic in streets. Grey areas of the camera image indicate areas for which image sensitivity is disabled.
Handset Talking Notification
This feature allows you to get information about a triggered sensor without looking at the display of the smartphone or cordless handset. When a sensor is triggered, the handset announces the location and name of the sensor, and the type of detection. The announcement is heard before the alert sounds.
3 Way Notification
The sensor features built in outdoor cameras can trigger camera recording features, call a pre-programmed phone number when a sensor is triggered, or receive notifications on your smartphone or tablet and cordless handset*1.
*1 The cordless handset (KX-HNH100) is optional.
Quad-View on Smartphone or Tablet
You can register up to 4 cameras*1 to the system. By opening the camera list, you can view a small preview of each camera’s image and confirm each camera’s connection and recording status. Up to 4 cameras can record at the same time.
*1 An optional indoor camera or outdoor camera is required to register the second and subsequent cameras.
Automatically Turn on Lights
Lights connected to a smart plug automatically turn on when you arrive home through a linked smartphone or tablet. Smart plugs also allow you to turn electric devices on and off when triggered by a sensor.
2 Way Communication
Tap and hold the Voice icon while viewing live camera images. The audio from your mobile device’s microphone is played through the camera’s speaker until you release your finger.
Night Vision
If there is not adequate light to illuminate the subject, such as at night, the camera automatically switches to the night vision mode*1, and images can be checked up to 6m away, even in dark areas.
*1 When the night vision mode is active, colours may appear different from normal.
Play 5 Lullabies
You can play a lullaby using the camera’s built-in speaker. Five different lullabies can be remotely set from a smartphone.

3 Way Detection (Motion / Sound / Temperature)
The camera can send notifications 3 ways:
- When the camera microphone detects sound
- When the camera’s ambient temperature is too cold or hot
- When the camera’s visual sensor detects motion.

You can register up to 4 cameras*1 to the system. By opening the camera list, you can view a small preview of each camera’s image and confirm each camera’s connection and recording status.

Recording Video with Motion Detection
You can use home control programs to record images when a sensor is triggered. Video can be recorded for up to 15 minutes at a time.
You can use the recording list to play back recordings saved on the hub’s microSD / microSDHC card and to confirm details about each recording.

Double Sensor Operation
The camera has 2 sensors: a motion detection sensor and an infrared sensor (i.e., heat sensor).
Visual Sensor
Easily detects movement in the daytime or when it is bright, by detecting changes in the image or changes in the brightness levels of moving objects.
Infrared Sensor
Easily detects when there is a big difference between the temperatures of objects and the surrounding environment.
Home Power Management
You can use your smartphone or tablet to access smart plugs and turn on lights or other appliances.
You can create a smart plug schedule to turn devices on/off.
Additionally, you can use your mobile device to view a record of smart plug power consumption.
