Twin Camera Function

This model Series includes a rotatable sub camera. Parallel 2-system processing with the Crystal Engine PRO+ lets you shoot from the side or rear at the same time.
You can catch a shot of someone at the side, a self portrait, or both a tele and wide-angle shot from the front. The sub camera records into a sub window, which you can move by dragging & dropping.

Level Shot Function

The Level Shot function automatically detects and corrects the tilting of captured images. 2014 models use hybrid processing based on an acceleration sensor plus a gyro sensor to improve tilt tracking by 30% for more stable shooting. Images are more level even when shooting in an unstable or awkward position, such as low angle or high angle.

Baby Monitor

Using Wi-Fi, you can check on your baby using a smartphone or tablet in another room. The Push Notification function alerts the smartphone or tablet if the voice sensor detects your little one waking up and making a sound, and you can even speak to your baby over the monitor.

New BSI Sensor

The effective Sensor area is increased* to achieve the high image quality of 6.03M effective pixels. This gives you bright, beautiful shots even in dark places.

Crystal Engine Pro+

The information processing speed has advanced by about 1.5 times* the conventional speed. New Noise Reduction has reduced noise for crisp, vibrantly colorful Full-HD images.

Intelligent 50x Zoom / Optical 20x Zoom

The wide shooting range expands the breadth of photographic expression, extending from 29.5mm wide angle to Intelligent 50x zooming. This makes it possible to capture everything from panoramic scenery to telephoto images for obtaining dynamic images of subjects at a distance

5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+

HYBRID O.I.S. + uses five-axis correction to thoroughly suppress blurring all the way from wide-angle to powerful zoom shots. This lets you capture crisp, clear images, without blurring, in almost every shooting situation.

The “Panasonic Image App” lets you use a smartphone or tablet as a live-view remote controller and operate the camcorder from a distance.
