Alicia Robbins

L.A. based Director of Photography Alicia Robbins received her MFA in Cinematography from AFI in 2003 and joined the union as an operator in 2007. Alicia received the prestigious 2018 Emerging Cinematographer Award from the Cinematographer's Guild for the short Internet Gangsters. She was Additional DP for Shonda Rhimes’ For the People (Season 2, ABC) working under Christian Sebaldt, ASC. Alicia completed two season 15 Grey's Anatomy episodes including critically acclaimed episode "Silent All These Years." The Wedding Invitation, feature film, won Best Romantic Comedy at the 2016 Manhattan Film Festival and Best Comedy at Burbank International Festival. Her next two features, Babysplitters (Winner best narrative at Santa Barbara International Film festival) and Forever Not Maybe are due for release in 2019. In addition to her cinematography, Alicia has worked as the lead DP for Driving Plates, a 360 plate company that specializes in 360 capture of driving and background footage for VFX elements and B-roll. Alicia has shot for projects that include Creed II, Tag, The Post, SWAT and Scorpion.
