Yam & Gingko Dessert [Teochew Orh Nee]
A creamy traditional Teochew dessert infused with mild sweetness from fresh yams.
Prime Fresh provides an extra cool, new soft-frozen texture.
Ingredients
- 350 gyam (cut & steamed)
- 200 gpumpkin (cut & steamed)
- 4 tbspoil
- 4 tbspsugar
- 0.25cup coconut cream
- 15 pcsgingko nut (cooked with 1/2 cup water & 3 tbsp sugar)
Steps
1) Blend steamed yam till become paste like.
2) Blend steamed pumpkin till become paste like. Set aside.
3) Heat oil in a pot and cook yam paste.
4) After 2 minutes, add in sugar. Stir well.
5) Then, add in coconut cream and bring to boil and dish up.
6) Fill up yam paste into a bowl, top with pumpkin puree.
7) Lastly, add some gingko nuts on top.
8) Once done, transfer to Panasonic Prime Fresh to enjoy a cold smooth texture.
