  • 100 gYellow onion
  • 400 mlWater
  • 2 cubesJapanese curry (Mild)
  • 200 mlMilk (Soy milk optional)

Garnish

  • 30 mlHeavy cream
  • Grilled shiitake mushroom (as topping)
  • 1 sprigThyme
  • Black pepper (to taste)

Steps

1) Roughly cut mushrooms and chop onion, set aside.

2) Add mushrooms, onion and water.

3) Add Japanese curry cubes.
Tip: Opt for S&B's 'Hot’ or 'Extra Hot' for a spicier taste.

4) Cover and secure lid, then start blending and cooking.
Select "Soup" | 40 mins.

5) Once done, add milk. Cover and secure lid. Select "M" 100°C | 5 mins.
