By using two batteries — one in the camera and the other in the grip*, the DMW-BGS5 doubles the battery life for extended shooting.
* A battery pack is not included in the DMW-BGS5.

Easy to grip and access buttons in both horizontal and vertical orientations. The camera also features a joystick with the same ease of operation as the camera body.

- Splash Resistant works in conjunction with the lenses that were specifically designed to support this feature. Dust and Splash Resistant does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this battery grip is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.
