Enhancing QOL for palliative care

Our palliative care unit is the first such facility in the region, and our 16-bed medical treatment environment consists of all private rooms in consideration of privacy. We installed the ziaino^TM in our common room and operate it 24 hours a day to enable our patients and their families to spend their time here comfortably and peacefully. We sometimes use the ziaino^TM in private rooms where odors tend to linger, and have found that its deodorization effects seem to improve QOL (quality of life) for patients.
