Sausage Puff
Have you ever tried to make your own homemade Sausages? This recipe will allow you to control all the spices and ingredients used for the healthiest hand-made sausages at home. This recipe is great for those who love sausage puffs.
Ingredients
- 1 Packet Puff Pastry
- Sausage casing
- 250 g Beef
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 4 Chopped Green Onions
- 1 Cup Cilantro
- 2 pc Green Chillies
- 2 Tbsp Fish Sauce
Steps
STEP 1
Get your beef cubes and grind them using the meat grinder
STEP 2
In a bowl, mix in your ground beef with all the spices and finely chopped onions and garlic, chillies, ginger, cilantro
STEP 3
Attach the sausage maker attachment to the meat grinder and put the sausage casing on
STEP 4
Let the meat mix go through the attachment into the form of a sausage, shape, tie the sausage and remove
STEP 5
In a frying pan with 2 tbsp of oil, fry and cook the sausages throughout, then remove and set aside
STEP 6
Lay your pastry sheets on a baking sheet, and roll the sheets around the sausages
STEP 7
Set the convection mode on the oven, and bake the sausage rolls at 200'C for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
STEP 8
Let them cool down and serve
