LUMIX Sync App
LUMIX Sync is an app for Android/iOS devices to operate Panasonic digital cameras via wireless control. This app allows remote shooting of the camera and view/save images stored in the camera to the smartphone.
Easy Connection
Easily connect to Wi-Fi using a QR code. Furthermore, it is possible to easily pair a smartphone and a camera with Bluetooth®. When shooting, it automatically switches to a Wi-Fi connection so it can be used stress-free.
Image Transfer
Transmit photos and videos from your camera to a smartphone. Meets on-site needs where the necessity to report breaking news is required with simple and speedy operation.
Shutter Remote Control
Use your smartphone as a remote controller with a Bluetooth® connection. Shutter release, bulb recording, starting/stopping video recording can be conducted.
Remote Control
From basic settings such as exposure and white balance to focus and shutter release. Remotely operate the camera from your smartphone.
Copy Settings
Unify the camera settings via smartphone (limited to the same model). Increase efficiency at multi-camera shooting sites.
Firmware Update (LUMIX S5II, S5IIX, S5, S9, GH5II, GH6, GH7, G9II)
Update your camera firmware via smartphone.You can update immediately without the hassle of using a computer.
How to Update the Firmware (LUMIX S5II, S5IIX, S5, S9, GH5II, GH6, GH7, G9II)
1. Firmware Download
Launch the LUMIX Sync App from your smartphone, call out “Firmware Update” from the upper-right menu and follow the steps to download.
2. Connect to a Camera and Update
When you connect your smartphone and camera with Wi-Fi, the firmware is sent to the camera and the update will begin. Please delete when finished.
