Mr. Yoichi Marukawa, Managing Director, Panasonic Sales Vietnam to share about Panasonic business direction to solve social issues
Panasonic proudly introduces the new hygiene solution which was developed based on the standards of comfort, health, safety with careful consideration of the regional conditions. Based on the anti-bacterial technology using silver ions, the advanced hygiene technology BlueAg has been improved with a combination of blue light (in refrigerator) or UV rays (in washing machine) and silver ions helps to kill up to 99.99% of bacteria. Combining with new energy saving technology of TD inverter, Panasonic products will enrich the experience for Vietnamese consumers.
In refrigerator, the blue LED light activates the silver surface of the Ag filter to create OH (hydroxyl radicals). OH radicals then stick to bacterium and take the hydrogen away from them to form water and inhibit bacterium activity at the Ag filter. As a result, the fresh air is circulated helping to keep food fresh, retaining nutrients and flavor. BlueAg technology is integrated on Panasonic BV0 bottom freezer refrigerator model with premium glass doors and French Door CY0 model.

In addition, the hygiene water tank on Panasonic refrigerators has been improved in terms of design and material to enhance the antibacterial effect. It has a closed structure, made of antibacterial materials with a carbon filter inside that helps reduce unpleasant odors, ensuring that the water is always fresh and clean.
Besides, the newly launched refrigerators are also equipped with Panasonic leading food preservation technologies such as -3oC Prime Fresh freezing, wide fresh case, etc.

In front-load washing machine, BlueAg technology optimizes bactericidal efficiency by a combination of silver ions and UV rays – ultraviolet rays in the sunlight - without using hot water. Ag ions at the Ag device behind detergent tray will be injected into rinse water in the drum. The blue UV rays will activate the Ag ions to form OH radicals as same operation as in refrigerator to eliminate 99.99% of bacteria even when washing in cold water. Hence, it helps maximize protection for clothes, especially with perishable materials such as wool, silk as well as save time and power consumption.

Moreover, the auto tub clean function that automatically washes the tub after washing course and before the first rinse helping prevent bacteria and mold from growing outside the tub. The combination of this couple bactericidal feature brings clean, fragrant clothes, and limits skin allergies.
In top-load washing machine, Panasonic continues StainMaster+ technology with hot wash function to easily remove stubborn stains such as mud, soil, oily sauce, sweat on collar and sleeves as well as to eliminate allergens. The latest models are also integrated with new generation of TD Inverter motor, providing superior washing performance of more than 16%, minimizing noise and saving power up to 30% compared to conventional Inverter motors.
The 2019 washing machines launched in October to bring new experiences for consumers about optimal bactericidal capability with BlueAg technology.
The 2019 refrigerator and washing machine models also maintain Panasonic leading technologies including intelligent sensors Econavi and electricity saving Inverter to promote energy-saving and eco-friendly products.
“To meet growing market demand in Vietnam, one of key markets of Panasonic in the region, Panasonic has been continuously investing and developing technologies to provide consumers with Japan quality products, along with convenience and values, bringing a comfortable and safe life for Vietnamese people.”, said Mr. Yoichi Marukawa, Managing Director of Panasonic Sales Vietnam.
