Functions
Cooking Timer
Counts down time to automatically turn off the active hob zones upon reaching zero. (If ceramic hob, only single time setting is available).
Power Boost
Programs each cooking zone to cook on maximum power and then return to the pre-specified heat after five minutes.
Safety Features
Child Lock Protection
Touch about 3 seconds to lock or unlock the control panel.
Detection of Small Articles
When an unsuitable size or non-magnetic pan (e.g. aluminium), or some other small item (e.g. knife, fork, key) has been left on the hob, the hob will automatically go on to standby mode in 1 minute.
Over-Temperature Protection
Automatically reduces power if cookware becomes too hot.
Auto Shutdown Protection
Shuts down the hob automatically if you ever forget to turn it off.
Pan Detection Sensor
When the pot is removed, the induction hob will stop heating immediately and it will switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
Residual Heat Warning
When the hob has been operating for some time, there will be some residual heat. The letter “H” appears to warn you to keep away from it.
