Petaling Jaya, 26 November 2014 - Panasonic Malaysia previewed two new models of air purifier and car nanoe™ generator to the media today in Petaling Jaya. The new air purifier model (FVXK70) will be an add on to the complete line up of air purifier which will now be standing at a total of 6 models, catering to the different requirements for any home.

Introducing to the market for the first time is Panasonic car nanoe™ generator. This is a brand new product category that was brought in by Panasonic Malaysia to further promote clean air, not only at home, but also in the car. Model, F-GMG01 is suitable for any types of car and is powered by a car DC adaptor.

In 2014, the accumulation of unhealthy air quality level (by days, out of 320 days in total) in Selangor area (Port Klang, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam) reached a total of 30 days and approximately 140-180 days were reported as at moderate levels. (source - Department of Environment) This statistic is alarming and our society has begun to place greater importance on their health and well-being. Air quality has been proven to have a huge impact on the health of Malaysians.

Managing Director of Panasonic Malaysia, Mr Yosuke Matsunaga said, “Panasonic wants to provide the Malaysian families access to clean air in the comfort of their homes or even cars. The indoor air quality has been a main priority for every individual as haze becomes a recurrent problem every year.”

The air purifier, F-VXK70 that Panasonic introduced today is an add-on to a total of 6 models. This model is a flagship model for the humidifying air purifier series. Panasonic is targeting families with young kids and/or babies. Especially important for kids or babies with asthma or respiratory problem, this air purifier is able to provide clean indoor air quality to the families. Panasonic air purifier can be classified into 2 different categories, humidifying series (3 models) and nonhumidifying series (3 models).

Highlights of the new F-VXK70 are:

1. nanoe™ Technology - nanoe™ is a fine (5 to 20nm) and weak acidic water particle with a reactive substance and electric charge. It has 6 times longer lifespan than normal ion that is able to retain its effectiveness in anti-viruses and bacteria, deodorization and skin hydration.

2. HEPA Composite Filter can filter up to 99.97% of 0.3µm particles, boasting Panasonic technology like Super alleru-buster, Green Tea Catechin and Anti-bacteria Enzyme.

3. Human Activity Sensor which can detect human activity indoor and starts to clear dusts before it spreads to a wider area.

4. Improved Econavi from 40% to 60%. Econavi is an intelligent technology that can monitor daily activities and memorize the timeline of the pollution level. It then controls the operation of the product before pollution spreads throughout the house.

The car nanoe™ generator, model F-GMG01, is the brand new product that Panasonic will introduce in Malaysia. This product shares the same target market with air purifier, which is families with young kids and /or babies, but specifically used in the car/vehicle. Suitable for small and constraint areas, with limited air circulation in-car, car nanoe generator helps to deodorize tobacco smell, food odour, inhibiting bacteria and viruses.
