The content purportedly claiming Panasonic refrigerators are hazardous to customers due to safety issues. Panasonic Malaysia would like to assure customers that we have conducted a thorough investigation and confirmed that there were no safety issues with the refrigerator.
We would like to advise viewers to exercise discretion to the following facts:
1. This video is a repetition of previous postings made on similar Facebook account in 2019.
2. Adequate inspection and testing were conducted then on the said product at the customer’s house on 5 July 2019.
3. Test reports and results have confirmed that there was no apparent safety issues detected on the refrigerator.
4. Thereafter the person had deleted his Facebook page without making further claims.
Please be advised those found circulating this video on any social media shall entail legal liability as Panasonic Malaysia reserves the right to commence legal action accordingly.
Let us be vigilant at all times in handling unverified contents on social media.
