Panasonic Wins 4 Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards in 2013

Kuala Lumpur, 28 May 2013 - Panasonic Malaysia has won multiple Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands platinum and gold awards for twelve consecutive years since 2001.

This year Panasonic Malaysia won two platinum awards in the refrigerator and washing machine categories and two gold awards in the flatscreen TV and air conditioner categories.

Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey (formerly known as Reader’s Digest SuperBrands) was launched in 1999. The survey identifies which brands appeal most to affluent Asian consumers.

“These awards marked another year of achievement by the company in defining the confidence and recognition by Malaysian consumers of Panasonic products. The continued trust in our brand is a testament to the quality of our products.” said Yosuke Matsunaga Managing Director, Panasonic Malaysia.

The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands survey is carried out by the Nielsen Company. Consumers are surveyed through questionnaires distributed in Reader’s Digest as well as through telephone interviews of randomly selected consumers in Hong Kong, India, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

The survey reflects consumers’ choice of their most trusted and favorite brands among the thousands available in the market
