As Malaysia is establishing the platform towards the Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption framework and industry development, in support of the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (GreenTech), Panasonic shall be presenting the total end to end EV solution and industry elements through collaboration with highly essential partners. Using the Panasonic ELSEEV EV Charging platform as an integral element, Tan Chong Group shall be presenting the reputable zero emission Nissan Leaf, while at the same time showcasing the significance of EV charging infrastructures through First Energy Networks (a subsidiary of Tan Chong Group). To further encapsulate the entire partnership link, MyEV Portal shall be demonstrating the interesting EV charging solution backbone & software which shall fit as the cog of management, usability, networking & interface of the charging system.

On the other prong, Panasonic shall be expressing the strategic partnership establishment with Komitmen Mantap in the erection of 4MW solar farm at the East Coast Economic Region.

GREEN STORE CONCEPT
Through an opportunity provided by Berjaya Starbucks, Panasonic has managed to transform the prominent Starbucks Drive-Thru in Tanjong Tokong, Penang to an eco & green store. Incorporating solutions such as HIT Solar PV System, Inverter air conditioners, LED Lightings and indoor air quality products, approximately 42.5MWh per annum energy can be generated & saved from the particular premise alone. This is equivalent to approximately 27 tons of CO2 emission reduction or 1350 trees saved per annum. Hence, the experience of having a cup of coffee or tea there is just so much greener.

RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS FOR EDUCATION
10 selected schools across Peninsular Malaysia are currently in the progressive verge of having Panasonic HIT Solar System installed on their rooftop, donated by the AEON Environmental Foundation in a joint collaboration initiative between Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHa) and AEON Malaysia.
Appointed by AEON Environmental Foundation as the consultant & technology provider, Panasonic shall be providing the glimpse that the contributed solar PV solutions shall be the perfect system to serve AEON Environmental Foundation’s objective of increasing the awareness of renewable energy source among the local residents and also to be used as educational materials by the students to technically learn about the environment.

Since the launch in August 2012, the Panasonic Econation Center in Petaling Jaya supported by the Ministry of Greentech, Energy & Water (KeTTHA), Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), Selangor State Government & Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) has been effectively serving its purpose of educating & innovatively showcasing the concept & practicality of eco solutions to the various trades & public within & beyond Klang Valley.
