Panasonic Malaysia Announces New Managing Director

Petaling Jaya, 21 March, 2013 - Panasonic Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Panasonic Malaysia) announced the appointment of Mr. Yosuke Matsunaga to the position of Managing Director, taking over his predecessor, Mr. Jeff Lee.

Matsunaga, who served as Deputy Managing Director of Panasonic Deutschland, a German subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation, since 2009, will take on the role of Managing Director, Panasonic Malaysia effective 1^st April 2013. He replaces Jeff Lee who will be retiring.

Matsunaga brings more than 24 years of experience to the company, holding portfolios in business units such as Audio Visual System Products, Office Automation Products and Consumer Electronic Marketing.

He began marketing for various departments and subsidiary companies before landing himself in the Consumer Electronic Marketing field as General Manager in 2003. In 2009, he was promoted to Deputy Managing Director of Panasonic Deutschland.

Panasonic Malaysia is also pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Cheng Chee Chung to Deputy Managing Director for Panasonic Malaysia effective 1^st April 2013.
