Pretty captures and immortalizes athletes’ performance with the LUMIX S series camera system, with his fourth project in the series titled “Mixing Light with Water”. He visualizes the incredible performances of the swimming and artistic swimming athletes – Too quick for the naked eye - Using compact LEDs attached to the athletes bodies Pretty is able to capture an afterimage or light trail painted by the athletes movement though the water, the LUMIX S series camera system demonstrates unprecedented performance and is already raising expectations for what is to be seen at Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

I have always loved photographing water sports since I was a boy, as when you mix sports photography with water and light you have an almost perfect recipe for unpredictability.
Having a chance to capture something unexpected is one of the most addictive things about sports photography. I love the fact that no matter what when you combine light with water you are never in complete control of the situation, which leads to something fresh and hopefully a unique final image
