Add and Manage Users to Control Air Conditioner (Residential) and Ventilator
Enable multiple users, including other family members, to control and operate the same air conditioner units, making cooling easier and more convenient for everyone involved.

1.0 Check Device Information
Step 1
Tap the “Menu” button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2
Select “Device list”.
Step 3
Choose your device’s location.
Step 4
View your device ID and other additional information.
2.0 Approving Additional Users
The admin user will receive a notification to approve the additional user. Panasonic Comfort Cloud App must have permission to send notifications.
Step 1
Select any air conditioner.
Step 2
Tap the notification button on the top left-hand corner.
Step 3
Tap the message.
Step 4
Choose the approval level to share with additional user, then tap “Confirm”.
3.0 Check Users List
Step 1
Tap the “Menu” button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2
Tap “Owner” to expand the menu. Then tap “User List”.
Administrator can view which user is having access to the particular air conditioner.
Additional users can proceed with registration by following the steps below.

4.0 Add Additional Users (Advanced Built-In Wi-Fi - Easy Connect)
The following steps are to set up the connection between an advanced built-in Wi-Fi air conditioner and the Comfort Cloud App, either by scanning a QR code or through manual setup without scanning a QR code for additional users.
4.1 Scan Connection (Connect with Scanning QR Code)
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Air conditioner”.
Step 3
Choose “Air conditioner + Wireless remote controller”.
Step 4
Ensure there are 2 QR codes on the front panel’s sticker, then tap “Front panel sticker with 2 QR codes”
or
If there is no front panel sticker, tap “Without Front panel sticker” and check if there is 1 QR code inside the front panel, then tap “QR code exists”.
*If none of the above options apply, proceed to 5.0 Add Additional Users (Standard Built-In Wi-Fi).
Step 5
Tap “Scan QR code”.
*If you cannot scan the QR code for some reason, please tap “If you cannot find QR code, please click here”. Proceed to 4.2 Manual Setup (Connect without Scanning QR Code).
Step 6
Allow the app to access your camera.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 7
Scan the QR Code on the front panel sticker.
*If error occurs, please tap “Try manual setup”. Proceed to 4.2 Manual Setup (Connect without Scanning QR Code).
Step 8
Tap “Allow” to give permission to the Comfort Cloud App to find and connect to nearby devices.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 9
Allow app to use Bluetooth.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 10
Allow the app to access your precise location while using the app.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 11
Prepare the air conditioner’s remote controller and a pin.
Using the pin, press and hold the “ ” button for 5 seconds until “1” is displayed.
Press “UP” or “DOWN” until you see the number “0”.
Point the remote controller towards the air conditioner and press the “SET” button ONCE. A “BEEP” sound will be heard.
Tap “Next”.
Step 12
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 13
Tap “Use” to connect to the existing Wi-Fi network.
Step 14
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 15
Enter the air conditioner name, message to owner, and note.
Tap “Send request”.
Registration has been completed. Please wait for admin’s approval.
Go to 2.0 Approving Additional Users for steps to approve additional users.
4.2 Manual Setup (Connect without Scanning QR Code)
Step 1
If you cannot scan the QR code, tap
“Try manual setup”
or
“If you cannot find QR code, please click here”.
Step 2
Prepare the air conditioner’s remote controller and a pin.
Using the pin, press and hold the “ ” button for 5 seconds until “1” is displayed.
Press “UP” or “DOWN” until you see the number “2”.
Point the remote controller towards the air conditioner and press the “SET” button ONCE. A “BEEP” sound will be heard.
Tap “Next”.
Step 3
Tap “Yes” to continue.
*Important Note: Before proceeding, you will need the device password. Device password was set by the Admin, the first person who registered the air conditioner with the Comfort Cloud App.
Step 4
Enter the password and tap “Next”.
Step 5
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 6
Tap “Use” to connect to the existing Wi-Fi network.
Step 7
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 8
Enter the air conditioner name, message to owner, and note.
Tap “Send request”.
Registration has been completed. Please wait for admin’s approval.
Go to 2.0 Approving Additional Users for steps to approve additional users.
5.0 Add Additional Users (Standard Built-In Wi-Fi)
The following steps are to set up the connection between a standard built-in Wi-Fi air conditioner and the Comfort Cloud App for additional users.
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Air conditioner”.
Step 3
Choose “Air conditioner + Wireless remote controller”.
Step 4
Ensure there is 1 QR code ONLY on the front panel’s sticker, then tap “Front panel sticker with 1 QR code”
or
If there is no front panel sticker, tap “Without Front panel sticker” and check if there is NO QR code inside the front panel, then tap “QR code is not found”.
*If none of the above options apply, proceed to 4.0 Add Additional Users (Advanced Built-In Wi-Fi - Easy Connect).
Step 5
Prepare the air conditioner’s remote controller and a pin.
Using the pin, press and hold the “ ” button ONCE to hear a “BEEP” sound.
The Wireless LAN LED on the air conditioner will illuminate and begin to blink.
Tap “Next”.
*Wireless LAN LED’s position and colour varies for different models.
Step 6
Tap “LED is ON”.
Step 7
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 8
Select the air conditioner for registration and tap “Register”.
Step 9
Prepare the air conditioner’s remote controller and a pin.
Using the pin, press and hold the “ ” button for 5 seconds until “1” is displayed.
Press “UP” or “DOWN” until you see the number “3”.
Point the remote controller towards the air conditioner and press the “SET” button ONCE. A “BEEP” sound will be heard.
Tap “Next”.
Step 10
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 11
Enter the password and tap “Register”.
*Important Note: Before proceeding, you will need the device password. Device password was set by the Admin, the first person who registered the air conditioner with the Comfort Cloud App.
Step 12
Enter the air conditioner name, message to owner, and note.
Tap “Send request”.
Registration has been completed. Please wait for admin’s approval.
Go to 2.0 Approving Additional Users for steps to approve additional users.
6.0 Add Additional Users (Network Adaptor CZ-TACG1)
The following steps are to set up the connection between a Wi-Fi compatible air conditioner with network adaptor, CZ-TACG1 to the Comfort Cloud App for additional users.
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Air conditioner”.
Step 3
Choose “External Wireless Adaptor”.
Step 4
Check if the “POWER LED” on the network adaptor is “ON”. Tap “Next”.
*The “POWER LED” is “ON” when its LED is continuously lit but not blinking.
Step 5
Tap "Next" since you're not the person who initially set up this air conditioner (administrator).
Step 6
Make sure all three LED lights on the network adaptor is “ON” (lit but not blinking). Tap “LED is ON”.
Step 7
Enter Device ID and Password. Tap “Register”.
Important Note: Before proceeding, you will need the device ID and device password. Device password was set by the Admin, the first person who registered the air conditioner with the Comfort Cloud App. For the device ID, refer to section 1.0 Check Device Information.
You can also check the device ID on the box or tag.
Step 8
Enter the air conditioner name, message to owner, and note. Tap “Send request”.
Registration has been completed. Please wait for admin’s approval.
Go to 2.0 Approving Additional Users for steps to approve additional users.
7.0 Add Additional Users (Ventilator IAQ Remote Controller)
The following steps are to set up the connection between ventilator with IAQ remote controller and the Comfort Cloud App for additional users.
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Ventilation fan”.
Step 3
Tap the “” button to expand the country menu.
Choose your country and tap “Next”.
Step 4
Tap “Start”.
Step 5
Choose “Others (Ventilator used before)”.
Step 6
Tap "Yes" when the app display, "Was the ventilator operated using this smart APP before?"
Step 7
Choose the button that matches the status of the Wireless LAN network “”. As the unit was setup before, the mark should be “ON”. Choose the “Wireless LAN mark is ON”.
Step 8
Searching for ventilator, please wait.
Step 9
Select the ventilator for registration and tap “Register”.
Step 10
On the IAQ remote controller, press and hold “” buttons together until “1” appears on the screen.
Press “Mode” repeatedly until “3” is displayed.
Press the “Filter” button once.
Tap “Next” on the app.
Step 11
Your air conditioner is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 12
Enter the password and tap “Register”.
*Important Note: Before proceeding, you will need the device password. Device password was set by the Admin, the first person who registered the air conditioner with the Comfort Cloud App.
Step 13
Enter the ventilator name, message to owner, and note.
Tap “Send request”.
Registration has been completed. Please wait for admin’s approval.
Go to 2.0 Approving Additional Users for steps to approve additional users.
