Zaa’tar And Garlic Focaccia Bread
Ingredients
- 450ml Warm Coconut Milk (full fat)
- 6gInstant Yeast
- 480gAll purpose flour
- 2/3 tsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp + 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbspza'atar blend
- 1 tbsp za'atar leaves (oregano, thyme)
- 1/2 bulb (5-6 cloves) garlic
Steps
STEP 1
Heat resistant container 20x29
STEP 2
Warm the coconut milk, add the yeast and leave for 5mins
STEP 3
In the bowl, add all purpose flour, seasalt, brown sugar, coconut milk with yeast
STEP 4
Use the kneading hook and turn the machine on to speed 3
STEP 5
Once the ingridients are mixed start to pour in the olive oil (4tbsp) and allow the machine to knead until the dough is ready
STEP 6
Let the dough sit and rise and allow for 1h30mins fermentation time
STEP 7
Brush the olive oil into the dish and then transfer dough to the dish and press it inside.
STEP 8
Sprinkle all the za'atar blend and leaves, olive oil and garlic ontop of the dough. Press a few holes into the dough,
STEP 9
Allow to ferment for additional 45mins then bake in the oven for 25mins at 200 degrees
