Steamed Cod and Vegetables with Fresh Veggie Sauce
Light, tender cod combines perfectly with fragrant vegetables and herbs.
Chervil provides a fresh accent to the aroma of sweet pepper and onion.
Steam oven makes preparing this fish dish a snap. Little oil is used, making the dish a healthy one.
Ingredients
- 2 filletsCod (280g)
- Salt and Pepper (To taste)
- 1/4 Yellow Bell Pepper
- 1/4 Red Bell Pepper
- 4Small Onion
- 4Red Pearl Onion
- 4Brussels Sprout
- Salt (Small amount)
GARNISH
- 2Lemon (rounds)
- Chervil (To taste)
SAUCE
- 3Red Pearl Onion
- Chervil (To taste)
- 3Anchovy Fillet
- 5Cherry Tomato
- 2 tbspOlive Oil
- 1 tspLemon Juice
Steps
STEP 1
Remove the skin from the cod and cut it. Season it with salt and pepper.
STEP 2
Remove the seeds from the paprika and cut it into 3cm cubes. Peel the red pearl onion and cut it in half. Cut into 4 wedges. Sprinkle lightly with salt.
STEP 3
Arrange the cod and vegetables on an oven tray, and put them in the lower rack of the oven. Set it to 10 minutes with steam 1 and press the start button.

Mince red pearl onion, chervil and anchovy. Remove the seed from the cherry tomato and roughly chop it. Put it in a bowl and add olive oil. Season with lemon juice.
STEP 2
When it is steamed, take out the oven tray and put vegetables and cod in a bowl. Garnish with lemon and chervil and serve with sauce.
