Cinnamon Nutmeg Gluten-Free French Toast
This sweet and fruity French toast is the perfect way to jazz up your breakfast. With fresh bread straight out of your breadmaker, this is sure to taste delicious.
Ingredients
- 4 slicesgluten-free bread
- 2medium eggs
- 1 tbspmilk (dairy-free if desired)
- 2 tbspcaster sugar or coconut sugar
- 1 tspcinnamon
- 0.5 tspnutmeg
- 2 tbspcoconut oil
Steps
STEP 1
Start by mixing the eggs, milk, spices, and sugar in a shallow bowl.
STEP 2
Lay a slice of bread in the bowl and soak on either side.
STEP 3
Melt the coconut oil in a pan, add the slice of bread, and fry until both sides are golden brown. Repeat for each slice of bread.
STEP 4
Top with berries, maple syrup, shredded coconut, and granola.
