Outstanding Reliability
Heat Management for Unlimited Recording Time
LUMIX GH series cameras are renowned for their reliable performance, even in hot environments – the GH7 upholds this tradition. The active cooling technology maintains optimal temperatures when recording at high bit rates, resolutions, or with advanced codecs. Perfect for extended shoots and well-suited to the hot climate conditions of Australia.
*When the resolution and frame rate are set to C4K/60p or lower. The camera may stop recording when used in a temperature that is lower or higher than the recommended operating temperature (-10 to 40 degrees). If the resolution is higher than C4K, the frame rate is higher than 60p or set to ProRes, the camera may automatically stop shooting to protect the camera body, even at recommended operating temperatures (-10 to 40 degrees).
Tilt and Free-angle Rear Monitor
Leveraging the convenience of both a tilt monitor and a free-angle monitor, the monitor can be rotated even with an HDMI or USB cable attached to the camera. This allows for greater flexibility when checking the monitor while connected to an external recorder or other device.
3,680k-dot 0.8x OLED LVF
The 3,680k-dot 0.8x live view finder uses a highly responsive, easy-to-see OLED display to capture even fast-moving subjects in fine detail. In addition, the high contrast display (approx. 10,000:1) presents the subject with fine gradations and high clarity throughout.
Tough Body for a Wide Range of Weather Conditions
The magnesium alloy full die-cast frame is highly durable, while sealing helps protect every seam, dial, and button. The camera as a whole is dust- and splash-resistant* and designed for use at temperatures as low as -10 °C.
・Dust- and splash-resistant does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this camera is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.
Double Memory Card Slot for Flexible Data Management
The LUMIX GH7 is capable of high bit-rate recording with dual memory card slots, including a CF Express Type B, and SD UHS-II V90. Dual recording is possible to provide backups, and the ability to record proxies to SD card.
*For motion pictures with 800Mbps or more, variable frame rate with ALL-Intra, or 5.7K/C4K ProRes, a CFexpress card is required.
*See Product spec sheet for more information on recording formats to card slots and the bit rate information.
