Add Your Unit to Comfort Cloud App for Ventilator IAQ Remote Controller
Connect your ventilator (supply air fan) to the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App through the IAQ Remote Controller. This enables you to monitor indoor temperature, humidity, PM2.5, and CO₂ levels, and adjust the supply air fan volume to ensure a constant flow of fresh air into your home, promising healthier living environment.
What you need to get started:
• A Wi-Fi compatible ventilator (supply air fan).
• A Panasonic IAQ remote controller.
• A smartphone/tablet that runs on Android or iOS.
• Latest version of the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App – Android | iOS
• A router that support 2.4GHz or 2.4GHz/5GHz band.
• An Internet connection.
Sign in to the Comfort Cloud App
Sign in to the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App using either your Panasonic ID or your Apple/Google Account. View sign-in steps here.
1.0 Add Your Unit (Ventilator IAQ Remote Controller)
The following steps are to set up the connection between a ventilator equipped with the IAQ remote controller and the Comfort Cloud App, with the options of using your Wireless LAN router password (AP mode) or without a password (WPS mode).
1.1 AP Mode (Connect with Wireless LAN Router Password)
Before you begin, make sure you have a 2.4GHz Wireless LAN router with internet connection.
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Ventilation fan”.
Step 3
Tap the “”button to expand the country menu.
Choose your country and tap “Next”.
Step 4
Tap “Start”.
Step 5
Choose “Newly purchased ventilator”.
Step 6
Choose the button that matches the status of the Wireless LAN network“ ”. As a new model that has not been setup before, the mark should be “OFF”. Choose the “Wireless LAN mark is OFF”.
Step 7
Press the “” buttons together once.
When the Wireless LAN mark “” is blinking, tap “Next” on the app.
Step 8
Choose the button that matches the status of the Wireless LAN network “ ”. After Step 7, the Wireless LAN mark “ ” should have appeared. Choose “Wireless LAN mark is Blinking”.
Step 9
Choose to “Connect with AP mode”.
Step 10
On the IAQ remote controller, press and hold “” buttons together until “1” appears on the screen.
Press “Mode” repeatedly until “2” is displayed.
Press the “Filter” button once.
Tap “Next” on the app.
Step 11
Allow the app to access your precise location while using the app.
*Pop-up design may vary depending on the OS version and/or smartphone/tablet model.
Step 12
A pop-up for "Settings" might appear. Tap it to access your Wi-Fi settings. Make sure your smartphone/tablet’s Wi-Fi is connected to "Panasonic-XX-wirelessAP”.
or you might see a message asking "Comfort Cloud" Wants to Join Wi-Fi Network "Panasonic-XX-wirelessAP”?. If so, tap "Join".
It should connect automatically without password.
Step 13
When this screen reappears, tap “Next”.
Step 14
Enter Wireless LAN password and tap “OK”.
*This is the password for your Wi-Fi network that your smartphone/tablet is currently connected to.
Step 15
When the Wireless LAN mark “ ” changes from blinking to “ON”, proceed to tap “Next”.
Step 16
Please wait while the app is searching for the ventilator.
Step 17
Select the ventilator for registration and tap “Register”.
Step 18
On the IAQ remote controller, press and hold “” buttons together until “1” appears on the screen.
Press “Mode” repeatedly until “3” is displayed.
Press the “Filter” button once.
Tap “Next” on the app.
Step 19
Your ventilator is connecting to the network.
*This may take a few minutes. Please wait.
Step 20
Create password and then tap “Register”.
*As the first user, you need to create a new password for the ventilator. This password will be required when adding an additional user.
Step 21
Set ventilator name and then tap “Register”.
1.2 WPS Mode (Connect without Wireless LAN Router Password)
Before you begin, make sure you have a 2.4GHz Wireless LAN router with internet connection.
Step 1
Tap the “+” icon.
Step 2
Choose “Ventilation fan”.
Step 3
Tap the “”button to expand the country menu.
Choose your country and tap “Next”.
Step 4
Tap “Start”.
Step 5
Choose “Newly purchased ventilator”.

On the IAQ remote controller, press and hold “” buttons together until “1” appears on the screen.
Press the “Filter” button once.
Then tap “Next”.
Step 12
When the Wireless LAN mark “ ” changes from blinking to “ON”, proceed to tap “Next”.
Step 13
Please wait while the app is searching for the ventilator.
Step 14
Select the ventilator for registration and tap “Register”.
Step 15
On the IAQ remote controller, press and hold “” buttons together until “1” appears on the screen.
Press “Mode” repeatedly until “3” is displayed.
Press the “Filter” button once.
Tap “Next” on the app.
Step 16
Your ventilator is connecting to the network.
