Manila, Philippines — from high technology to high fashion, Panasonic continuously explores different realms of innovation with our surprising branding shift to lifestyle as we team up with Manila Fashion Festival for its 8^th season dubbing this year as “Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival”.     

Embracing this year’s theme “Infinite Styles”, the festival stayed true to their promise to give their supportive enthusiasts a bigger and grander fashion experience. Life and stories were shared with every fabrics designed by outstanding renowned fashion designers in the industry.

Held at The Marquee Tent, Edsa Shangri-La Manila last April 10-13,2018, the highly anticipated first day of the PMFF was nothing short of vogue and elegance as the festival blurs the line between fashion and technology. The local fashion scene opens with stylish attendees who are dressed to impress filled the venue with their trendy and sophisticated look. The festival then jumpstart the evening show with PMFF Season 8 AVP showcasing the dynamic collaboration between Panasonic technology such as TVs, Beauty products and Lumix Digital Cameras to the fashion industry. Each designers for the evening show pretty much conveyed their own sense of style from chic to lewd into elegance portraying different feelings with every fabrics made.

The event also held their very first photography and videography forum for the second day of PMFF entitled “Point of View” wherein renowned players in the industry shared their personal techniques and tips in getting the perfect shot using our very own Panasonic Lumix Cameras.

The third day of the PMFF was a mixed of tears and joyfulness as the students of School Of Fashion (SoFa) Design Institute braved the runway as they fulfilled their years of studies and graduated with flying colors. They have given the audiences a show that is filled with different shades of life as they mirrored their own personalities into their craft. 22 students told their stories in the most artistic way possible with their inner self as an inspiration that enthused their personal creativity. They took their last walk in the ramp as students leaving us all with the knowledge that the future of Philippine fashion is bright. The Grad show was then succeeded by the evening show with all the promising designers of the night bestowing the crowd with their couture expertise.

One highlight of the whole festival would be the Finale Evening Show wherein talented designers from Cebu and Davao graced the audience with their stunning ensembles showing a raw Filipino prowess. An astounding collection of designs that mirrored the culture and life of our country along with the models who were clad in glamorous outfits with our Panasonic Lumix products as an accessory that highlights and illuminates the collaboration between the evolving fashion and technology.

From highlighting the use of technology from backstage to the runway itself, Panasonic Manila fashion Festival proved that this year’s festival did not only showcased the astonishing world of fashion but rather how it evolved and perfectly keep up in the world where trends and technology dominates.
