High Image Quality and Sensitivity with a 1.0-type 4K Sensor

An effective 1.0-type sensor (approx. 9.46 megapixels at 4K 24 p and 8.79 megapixels at UHD, FHD) is balanced with depth of field, picture quality, and sensitivity. This enables multi-format 4K 24 p, UHD 60 p/50 p and FHD 60 p/50 p recording.

In addition to the industry's widest 24 mm wide angle, models with the 1.0-type sensor feature the world's first** optical 20 x zoom. Using a 4-Drive Lens System to drive each of four lens groups achieves both the optical 20 x zoom and a compact body.

For critical 4K focusing, high-speed, precise, and stable AF performance is achieved by a Micro Drive Focus Unit. AF settings can also be customized to adjust speed, tracking sensitivity, and area width. This matches the user's intended AF operation to the subject and application.

Advanced O.I.S.

Clear, Blurless Results

The correction area was expanded to 900%* of the conventional area** to strongly correct low- and high-angle shots. In FHD mode, a 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. + that adds electronic image stabilization to optical image stabilization detects and corrects 5 axes.
