Daniel J. Cox
"Education provides the most powerful toolbox known to man. Photography is just one of the many tools I’ve chosen to tell the stories that inspire change, provide hope, and enlighten viewers. If just one of my images creates interest, then I’ve made progress."
Daniel J. Cox has been pursuing his lifelong dream of photographing nature for 40 years. He’s traveled to all seven continents producing stories for respected publications such as National Geographic Magazine, BBC, National Wildlife, Outdoor Photographer, and many others around the world. His conservation work includes over 15 years as an advisory board member for Polar Bears International as well as being director of their Arctic Documentary Project. He’s published numerous books and in 2013 was awarded Outstanding Nature Photographer of the Year by the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA). Daniel was a Nikon "Legend Behind the Lens” for nearly 30 years and now works with Panasonic as a LUMIX Luminary Team member. He and his wife Tanya operate Natural Exposures Invitational Photo Tours out of Bozeman, Montana.
