The magnesium alloy full die-cast frame is highly durable, while sealing helps protect every seam, dial, and button. The camera is dust and splash-resistant* and designed for use at temperatures as low as -10 °C.
*Dust- and splash-resistant does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this camera is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.
Double Memory Card Slot for Flexible Data Management
The LUMIX GH6 supports high-bit-rate video recording with a double memory card slot* for a CFexpress Card (CFexpress Type B) and SD Memory Card (UHS-I/UHS-II UHS Speed Class 3, UHS-II Video Speed Class 90). This enables you to use different recording media depending on your shooting needs.
In addition, the dual recording mode allows you to save/keep the same photo/video to both cards at once — creating the all-important redundancy for once in a lifetime moments.
*For motion pictures with 800Mbps or more, variable frame rate with ALL-Intra, or ProRes, a CFexpress card is required.
Full Size HDMI and Cable Lock Holder
A highly versatile and durable HDMI Type A terminal is provided. The firmware version 2.3 includes support for 4K 120p output via HDMI 2.1. With the included cable lock holder, HDMI and USB cables can be bundled to prevent accidental cable disconnection during shooting.

USB Power Delivery and Supply
Compatible with USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, allowing you to shoot while charging at high speed during long shoots in the studio or elsewhere. The battery can be charged while supplying power to the camera* when used in combination with USB Power Delivery standard compliant battery charger model DMW-BTC15 (sold separately).
*Battery must be installed in camera and retain some charge for feature to work.

Camera Control with LUMIX Tether
The LUMIX GH6 allows tethered shooting via USB with LUMIX Tether computer software. It enables camera control and capture while checking the image on a large computer screen. This greatly assists professional workflows in commercial photo and video shooting at studios.
LUMIX Tether also support connectivity of multiple LUMIX cameras at the same time, perfect for remote camera live production environments.
Front/Rear Tally Lamp
Tally Lamps are positioned on the front and back of the camera, indicating to subjects and the camera operator whether recording is in progress. Each of the lamps feature brightness setting and the ability to be deactivated.
Professional Audio Recording
This accessory (DMW-XLR1 sold separately) allows you to connect XLR microphones and capture high-quality stereo sound. The camera is capable of internal recording of high res 96kHz/24-bit 4ch audio, reducing the requirement of external audio recording equipment.
