Highly Responsive Mobility and Operability of the LUMIX GH6
7.5-stop Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabiliser)
It's difficult to handhold a camera at the best of times, but don't fret. The 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabiliser), intelligent compensation comes to your aid. This is the equivalent of doubling your exposure duration 7.5 times*, meaning you can create handheld slow shutter effects without a tripod. The LUMIX GH6 combines both body and lens stabilisation making it possible to capture telephoto video handheld.
The astonishing power of the 5-axis Body I.S. also offers the same stabilising effect for manual lenses further supporting creatives to capture stable imagery with creative vintage lenses**.

100MP Handheld High-Resolution Mode
The LUMIX GH6's High Resolution Mode now supports hand-held shooting, using the Body Image Stabiliser (B.I.S.) mechanism to shift the sensor while capturing 16 consecutive images. Then, it selects the 8 steadiest shots and automatically synthesises them into a 100-megapixel equivalent (11,552 x 8,672-pixel) file. This allows you to capture magnificent natural scenery and detailed works of art in ultra-high resolution without using a tripod. These files can be captured in RAW and/or JPEG, the mode can be quickly accessed from the drive mode dial.
High-Speed, High-Precision Auto Focus
Thanks to the new Venus engine and the faster sensor readout speeds, the GH6 has seen an increase in AF tracking performance, offering continuous AF tracking of humans (face, eye, head, body) and animals in photo and video. The GH6 has new design of AF modes including the ability to turn on and off subject recognition across a large range of focusing modes.
Focus ring control
Choose the focus ring control setting that feels right to you: either NONLINEAR, which accelerates the focus movement in accordance with the speed of the focus ring, or LINEAR, which moves the focus at a constant speed in accordance with the rotating angle of the focus ring. When LINEAR is selected, you can set the focus ring rotating angle, enabling you to focus intuitively and accurately in the manner you are accustomed to.

75fps Full Resolution Burst Shooting
Thanks to the new sensor’s higher readout speed and new Venus Engine’s superior processing power, the LUMIX GH6 delivers AFS burst shooting using the electronic shutter at 75 fps with 25.2-megapixel resolution. The sensor’s higher readout speed also minimises rolling shutter distortion and captures images faster than the naked eye can process.
