Always by your side, wherever you go. By adopting a retractable zoom system, the overall length and weight of the lens have been reduced to less than half that of the conventional zoom lens for the LUMIX S Series. Even when combined with the LUMIX S9, it is still super lightweight, at a mere 641g.

The optimised configuration has 8 elements in 7 groups, including 3 ASPH, 2 ED and 1 UHR lenses to minimise aberrations and ensure superb resolution.

This lens is designed to keep shooting in the toughest conditions thanks to its dust- and splash-resistant construction and allowing you to shoot in temperatures as low as -10°C. The fluorine coating applied to the front lens prevents the sticking of oil-based dirt.
