In the morning of 16 March 2013, Panasonic Corporation in Japan and Panasonic Vietnam in cooperation with Wellspring International School Vietnam and the Fukuoka Japan Hakozaki Japan held Kid Witness News (KWN) video meet – an exchange program between students from the schools participating in global KWN program sponsored by Panasonic Corporation. This is the first time the program was held at Panasonic Risupia Vietnam through HD conference system.

At the exchange program, students of two schools shared their experiences, their impression when participating in KWN program as well as the traditional culture beauties of the two nations. With a short period of time, and in a warm and fun atmosphere, Vietnamese students had a chance to perform a dance with conical traditional hats and introduce the nation's costume - ao dai to Hakozaki Fukuoka School students. Besides, Vietnamese students also learnt about the film production experience of Japanese students and understand more about the people, the country of Japan - a country has great development of science and technology in the world.

The exchange is also an opportunity for the students to visit Panasonic Risupia – a pioneering advanced visual education model in Vietnam where children and students can experience and develop their interest and love for science as well as promote their creativity through playing and learning different exhibits at the Centre.

Through this exchange program, Panasonic not only desires KWN program as a playground for students to experience in film production, find out the progress of science, technology and the media, but also be an opportunity for them to make friends and exchange with international friends, which will help the students learn more about the outside world, and be more confident in communication, cultural exchange.
KWN (Kid Witness News) is a global video education program supported by Panasonic since its beginning in 1989, with the aim of boosting creativity and communication skills and fostering teamwork through video production by children at the elementary and secondary school levels. As of November 2012, around 160,000 children from 29 countries / region around the world have participated in the program. In Vietnam, it has been annually implemented since 2006.

December 2012, during the KWN Asia Pacific regional award, Panasonic Vietnam in coordination with Wellspring International successfully held the Asia Pacific cultural exchange between team members of KWN Asia Pacific countries and Vietnamese students at Wellspring International School. The program has brought to many international friends a deep impression about the country and people of Vietnam as well as the young generation - the future of the country.
