Honor excellent Vietnamese students – Panasonic developing high-quality human resources in Vietnam

[28 September 2018, Hanoi] – Panasonic Vietnam holds the annual Panasonic Scholarship Ceremony at Panasonic Risupia Vietnam with the participant of Ministry of Education & Training, presenting 10 scholarships with total value of 1.2 billion Vietnam dong to 10 excellent students overcoming difficulties and desiring to contribute to society from top technology universities in the country.

The Panasonic Scholarship is an annual program of Panasonic established in 2004 with various forms of supporting and training coordination. This is one of the prestigious scholarships for students from the universities of science and technology nationwide thanks to its practical financial support and comprehensive development encouragement for students. Not only that, Panasonic scholars will also be given greater values, such as opportunities to develop soft skills, or access to cutting-edge technology and working environments. Up to date, the program has awarded 68 scholarships with total value of more than 51 billion Vietnam dong, in which there are 21 students still receiving it.

Besides the scholarship, Panasonic also has many training and practice activities with top universities in Vietnam such as Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Participating in the program, students not only gain practical and intuitive experiences on the leading technology lines of Panasonic manufacturers in Vietnam and Japan, but also can be recruited and work for Panasonic Vietnam Group. Panasonic also organizes internship programs for students of Ritsumeikan University and Kyoto University of Technology, Japan. Thus, students from both countries will be able to share their knowledge and exchange experiences in research and technology development at Panasonic R&D Center Vietnam.
