Start the program “Kids exchange green battery for a green healthy summer” with Panasonic

June 2017, Hanoi, Vietnam – Panasonic Vietnam officially starts the program “Kids exchange green battery for a green healthy summer” from 24th June at Panasonic Risupia Vietnam in order to increase awareness of environmental protection, encourage using clean energy towards a green living lifestyle for families and children.

Attending the program, students can bring used batteries and exchange with eco Panasonic Alkaline with outstanding performance, longer durability and leading safety. Additionally, science activities such as Dry Battery workshop, Human Battery workshop will help them understand the composition of battery and how to handle the battery after use to protect environment. Moreover, there are many interesting science exhibits and activities at Panasonic Risupia Vietnam, 2nd floor, Sunrise Building, Tran Thai Tong Str., Cau Giay Dist., Hanoi.

After the Exchange Battery Campaign in the cooperation with Vietnam Environment Administration (VEA) in four provinces of Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam and Hoa Binh in 2016, Panasonic organized collecting used batteries and exchanged for 12,500 eco batteries having no harmful metal like lead, mercury and cadmium. Following the success, Panasonic expects to appeal the concept of “eco battery, “clean battery” to more Vietnamese families and children through the program “Kids exchange green battery for a green healthy summer” from June to August 2017.
