Air pollution in big cities is an emerging issue that both government and community highly concern. According to UNICEF, children are highly vulnerable to bad quality air and every year over 600,000 children die due to air pollution in the world. To further enhance its strong commitment to create better life for people, on 14 January 2017, Panasonic in cooperated with Ministry of Labour, Invalid and Social Affair to donate 100 latest SKY SERIES air-conditioners to create a better living condition for serious ill patients and children in hospital and schools.

Since 2014 Panasonic has cooperated with MOLISA and National Fund for Vietnamese Children in annual donation program to improve living condition of hundred thousand Vietnamese people, especially children living in boarding schools and social organization. Recognizing the significant contribution, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung – Ministry of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affair has granted award certificate of outstanding contribution in children caring and protection to Panasonic as part of the “Golden heart tribute program”.
