High Durable Outdoor Unit

Stable Operation Even in Difficult Ambient Conditions

The operating range has been expanded to an outdoor air temperature of 43°C (cooling) / -15°C (heating). Hot air is discharged from the outdoor unit during cooling operation, and cold air is discharged from the outdoor unit during heating operation. Needless to say, if outdoor units are close together, the temperature at the place where the outdoor units have been installed will be harsher than the outside temperature. The PAC Heat Pump models continue to operate reliably even in the most difficult ambient conditions.

Silicone Coating to Prevent Short-Circuit Faults in the Circuit Board

Geckos can enter outdoor units and trigger an electrical short circuit, which may cause a malfunction. This outdoor unit has a silicon coating on the PCB circuit board, which helps prevent short-circuit faults in such cases.

Note: The coating does not completely eliminate the possibility of short-circuit faults in the circuit board.

In-House Manufactured Compressor with Outstanding Durability

Compressors are the heart of the air conditioner. Panasonic takes responsibility for the manufacture of all of its own products to ensure their durability.

Rust-resistant and Easy to Maintain

Panasonic heat exchange fins feature Blue Fin technology, which is more rust-resistant than conventional silver fins. They also use copper tube condensers, which are easier to repair and maintain.

Note: Selecting this unit does not completely eliminate the possibility of rust developing. For details concerning unit installation and maintenance, please consult an authorised dealer.

Long Piping Allows Flexible Installation

Piping can be extended up to 30 m without additional gas charging, and up to 50 m with additional gas charging. Even in stores and offices where space is limited, outdoor units can be installed on rooftops and other places.

Note: Additional gas is required when the piping length is extended.
