office employees and students in campuses. Hence, Panasonic air-e nanoe™ X generators equipped
with Panasonic's nanoe™ X technology were installed in all of their premises.
Challenge: Keeping Indoor Air Safe in the New Normal
The quality of the air we breathe plays a vital role in ensuring good health. This is especially relevant in confined spaces like offices and classrooms. Many viruses (including COVID-19) and bacteria are more prone to airborne transmission, via particles and droplets. Hence, having clean and fresh indoor air becomes a critical priority.
With this in view, PKT Logistics has assumed the highest degree of employer responsibility to safeguard the well-being of its employees, students and visitors.
Solutions & Technology Applied
PKT Logistics found a sustainable solution in Panasonic's patented nanoe™ X air purification technology. 400 units of air-e ceiling mounted nanoe™ X generators were installed in all its premises including nine logistics offices, three campuses, warehouses, and rented premises for third party suppliers.
Panasonic nanoe™ X technology offers the benefits of hydroxyl radicals (also known as OH radicals) contained in water and has the ability to inhibit bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants as well as deodorise odours. The nano-sized particles of nanoe™ X allow for deep penetration into soft furnishings like fabric, sofas, and carpets. nanoe™ technology is proven to effectively inhibit more than 99%* of novel coronavirus.

*Based on Panasonic verification test in collaboration with the Japan Textile Products Quality and Technology Center (QTEC), the virus titers of novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and its four variants (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta) were compared in a 45-liter test space with and without exposure to nanoe™. As a result, the test confirmed an inhibitory effect of more than 99% on all five types of viruses after two hours of exposure. Note that the verification results are based on the test in a closed test environment and not in a space actually in use.
