with nanoe™ X technology
MCT Sales Gallery & Offices
Location: Subang Jaya, Malaysia
Client: MCT Berhad
MCT Berhad (“MCT”) and its group of companies are a real estate group that is fast emerging as a
leading property developer in Malaysia. MCT is a subsidiary of Ayala Land Inc. (“Ayala Land”), the largest
and most established property developer in Philippines. Both companies have been collaborating closely
to create synergistic opportunities and to accelerate their presence in the Malaysian property market.
Challenge: Keeping Indoor Air Quality Safe in The New Normal
As the country enters the endemic phase, the need to adapt to the new norm has become more evident.
For their employees to return to work after a long spell of working from home, MCT and its group of companies faced the challenge of putting employees at ease with the idea of working in an enclosed air-conditioned office with others.
They looked into solutions to ensure indoor air is environmentally safe for employees, customers and any affiliates of the Group.

Solutions & Technology Applied
As safety has always been a top priority for their employees and customers alike, MCT was ecstatic at the opportunity to collaborate with Panasonic to implement Panasonic’s patented air purification technology, nanoe™ X technology in its premise to address the challenges of improving indoor air quality.
Panasonic nanoe™ X technology offers the benefits of hydroxyl radicals (also known as OH radicals) contained in water which has the capacity to inhibit bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants as well as deodorise odours. The nano-sized particles of nanoe™ X allow for deep penetration into soft furnishings like fabric, sofas, and carpets. nanoe™ technology is proven to effectively inhibit more than 99%* of novel coronavirus.
The effort to improve air quality at MCT with Panasonic nanoe™ X technology includes installation of 150 units air-e ceiling mounted nanoe™ X generator and 60 units portable nanoe™ X generator in their corporate office and sales galleries located at One City USJ, Cyberjaya, Cybersouth, Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya.

*Based on Panasonic verification test in collaboration with the Japan Textile Products Quality and Technology Center (QTEC), the virus titers of novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and its four variants (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta) were compared in a 45-liter test space with and without exposure to nanoe™. As a result, the test confirmed an inhibitory effect of more than 99% on all five types of viruses after two hours of exposure. Note that the verification results are based on the test in a closed test environment and not in a space actually in use.
