Today Panasonic announces its new 2024 TV line-up, including the Z80A (available in 65” and 55”), which delivers a cinematic OLED performance with superb brightness, flawless contrast, and impeccable detail, perfect for cinephiles and gamers alike.

The new line-up of televisions combine the best quality features: Panasonic’s renowned picture and sound quality combined with an extensive range of apps —including streaming services, music and more— all rolled into an easy to use, personalised, content forward user interface.

Engineered using decades of technical know-how, Panasonic creates natural, authentic scenes where colour bursts through the screen, and the Z80A is no exception.

Offering stunning 4K Ultra HD picture quality for deeper blacks, sharp contrasts, vivid colours, and precise details; viewing is a truly cinematic experience thanks to Dolby Vision, FILMMAKER MODE^TM and HDR10+.

This Panasonic Premium TV model also comes with Fire TV built in giving you high-quality, personalised streaming experiences. As well as immersive sound quality by Dolby Atmos, and a levelled-up gaming experience thanks to VRR supported up to 120Hz.

Elevated OLED viewing

The perfect introduction to vivid OLED visuals, the Z80A was designed with picture quality at its heart offering users next level OLED viewing.

For truly authentic cinema, the Z80A features a FILMMAKER MODE which allows viewers to enjoy their content exactly as the artist intended – whether they’re watching in a purpose-built cinema room or a family living space.

Developed by the UHD Alliance, together with Hollywood directors, FILMMAKER MODE ensures accurate picture reproduction free from distracting post-processing for a viewing experience just as the filmmaker intended.

All powered by the HCX Processor, the Z80A also supports a wide range of HDR capabilities, including Dolby Vision IQ^®, and HDR10+ Adaptive.

But impeccable vision is nothing without an audio performance to match. Panasonic’s Surround Sound Pro — along with Dolby Atmos^® immersive sound— delivers truly dynamic sound that transports you from your sofa to the heart of the action, whether you’re watching a film or engrossed in a game.

The integrated speakers, including a built-in subwoofer, also drive the bass to deliver even more immersive sound—elevating entertainment to new levels.

Main character gaming

New to the 2024 line-up, the Z80A benefits from improved Game Mode Extreme, which equips the TV with cutting-edge gaming functionalities compatible with the latest consoles and PCs.

The Z80A also benefits from more frames per second achieved thanks to the inclusion of HDMI 2.1 High Frame Rate and VRR up to 120Hz that mean faster, smoother gameplay.

With Fire TV built in, Panasonic’s new OLED TVs will enhance how you discover and enjoy content, seamlessly integrating your favourite streaming and live TV channels, apps, and tailored recommendations on one main home screen so you can quickly find what you love without the endless scrolling. The included Voice Remote with Alexa also makes it easy to launch apps, play music, search for titles, control your smart home and more, using your voice.

The Z80A comes in an elegant borderless design and can be wall mounted or free standing with the included pedestal, so it fits seamlessly in any home.
