Panasonic UK, Real Stories Community Submission
Panasonic UK Real Stories Community Submission (hereafter referred to as “the Submission”) is promoted by Panasonic UK, a branch of Panasonic Marketing Europe GmbH whose registered address is Maxis 2, Western Road, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1RT, UK (“the Promoter”).
Eligibility
1. The Submission is open to residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), aged 18 years or over, excluding employees and their immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children & spouse regardless of where they live) of the Promoter, its affiliated companies, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the Submission.
2. The Submission starts at 9:00am 10th October 2024 and closes 23:59pm 20th October 2024 (“the Submission Period”). Any submissions before or after the Submission Period will not be considered.
Entry Process
3. In order to qualify for the Submission, participants must email PanasonicRealStories@Popcornpr.co.uk using the below questions as a prompt for their application:

• Tell us more about yourself—what does your current self-care routine look like? What experiences have you had with your hair/ skin? We’d love to hear your unique personal story, so please share as much detail as possible.

• If you have selected hair: What challenges have you experienced with your hair—such as frizz, split ends, or dryness?
o If you have selected skin: When it comes to your skin, what are your main concerns? Do you have sensitive skin, concerned about aging or struggle with breakouts?
• How do these concerns affect you, and how do they make you feel? How does this impact your confidence and overall sense of wellbeing?
• Is there anything else you’d like to share with the Panasonic Personal Care team to support your submission?
Or, participants can submit a form from the Panasonic Personal Care Lead Gen ad via META.
4. Entrants can enter the Submission only once.
5. No purchase is necessary to enter the Submission.
6. Incomplete, incorrect, or otherwise invalid submissions will not be considered.
7. It is a condition of entry that participants agree to abide strictly by the rules of the Submission.
8. Participants must agree to the Privacy Policy of Panasonic UK, Popcorn PR and META’s Lead Ad Terms for the handling of their personal data which is outlined below.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any submissions, and remove them immediately from the Promoter’s channels, if the Promoter considers such submissions to be in bad faith, fraudulent, illegal or showing any illegal, immoral, lewd or disrespectful behaviour.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude participants and withhold the prize for violation of any of these Terms and Conditions.
12. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. No responsibility can be accepted for any submissions that are delayed, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid or if entry was not possible due to technical difficulties.
Result
14. During the Submission Period there will be 8 selected participants which will be announced once the Submission is over.
15. The participants will be selected on or before 25th October 2024 and the Promoter reserves the right to delay this up to 14 days.
16. The selected participants will take part in the Real Stories Community Project in which they will be gifted a bundle of Panasonic hair and/or skincare products to suit their needs. Following this, the brand will check in with the participants monthly to discuss their progress before the final pamper/shoot day on 18th January 2025. Attendance to this day is compulsory for selected participants.
17. There is no cash alternative to this result. The result is also non-transferable.
18. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative result of equal or greater value should the original become unavailable.
Participant selection
19. The participants will be selected from all valid submissions received to date within 72 hours of the Submission closing by a panel of judges as selected by the Promoter.
20. The participants will be contacted via email and will have 72 hours to acknowledge/respond before the Promoter reserves the right to choose another Participant from all submissions.
21. If it transpires a selected participant has not met the eligibility criteria, a new one will be selected from the remaining eligible qualifying submissions.
Copyright
22. All images and/or video submitted within the form must be the work of or owned by the participant submitting them. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Participants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
23. Participants agree by entering the Submission that the selected entries can be used by the Promoter for marketing and promotional purposes.
24. By participating in this Submission participants confirm that you have the ownership rights in the pictures and that you grant the Promoter
a. Permission for your entry to be published on the Promoter’s website; and
b. non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence (with a right to sub-license) to use, republish, edit and/or modify your Submission entry in any/all media (including in electronic format, hard copy and in the Promoter’s publications) for purposes connected with the Submission and as described in these Terms and Conditions
c. The right to use your name and county of residence for the sole purpose of identifying you as the author of your entry and/or as a selected participant of the Submission.
Privacy and Data Protection
25. Any personal data relating to participants will be used in accordance with all relevant Data Protection legislation (including the EU General Data Regulation) and META’s Lead Ad Terms. Data collected from the submissions will be disclosed to trusted third-party, Popcorn PR, to fulfil any requirements of the Submission and further promotion.
Personal Data
- Participants can contact Panasonic at PanasonicRealStories@popcornpr.co.uk if they want to amend or remove their personal data.
- By entering, each entrant agrees that any personal information provided in connection with the activity may be held and used by the promoter (and/or its agents and suppliers) to contact participants. Data will not be used for any other purpose or subject to further processing.
- Any personal information provided as part of an entry will be kept for a period of one month after the submission has closed, or in the case of chosen participants, it will be kept until after the prize has been provided and for a period of four months. Popcorn PR (The Popcorn Box, 60 High Street, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, HP16 0AU, Tel: 01494 413170) will be holding the participant data on behalf of Panasonic UK (Panasonic UK, a branch of Panasonic Marketing Europe GmbH, Maxis 2, Western Road, Bracknell, RG12 1RT, United Kingdom). All data will be deleted after the agreed terms.

General
26. By participating in this Submission, the selected participants agree to participate in any reasonable marketing and promotional activities required by the Promoter and confirm that they will attend the shoot day on 18th January 2025.
27. By participating in this Submission, the participants agree to give Panasonic, and trusted third parties, a non-exclusive licence to use the participants entry, photographs or video from their submission and/or shoot day on 18th January 2025 for marketing and advertising purposes.
28. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Submission or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any amendment to the Terms and Conditions will be posted on this website.
29. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
