Features
32-bit Float Recording*
The camera delivers 32-bit float recording, improving the quality and efficiency of the entire workflow. With its wide dynamic range, the 32-bit float format records more information, from quiet to loud sounds. As a result, there is no need for tedious sound level adjustments during audio recording. Video and music can be managed in a single file, making post-production much more efficient.
*Compatible model as of October 2024: LUMIX GH7 (DC-GH7).
High-quality Stereo Sound
This accessory allows you to connect an XLR microphone and capture high-quality stereo sound. When shooting MOV or ProRes, high-resolution audio recording and 4-channel audio recording* are also selectable. This accessory also supports the use of plug-in power.
*LUMIX GH6 (DC-GH6) does not support float recording and 4-channel audio recording with just a microphone connected to this unit. LUMIX S5II (DC-S5M2) / S5IIX (DC-S5M2X) / G9II (DC-G9M2) does not support float recording with just a microphone connected to this unit.
